Women Wednesday: Q&A with Mr. Fish
Q1. Does it bother you when you can tell a girl is wearing make-up?
A. Does it bother me? No. Do I think it’s maybe not necessary? Yes. A woman is the most beautiful and complex creature in this world. Sometimes, it seems that a girl forgets that the most beautiful part about her is being herself. So, when you're putting on your makeup, ask yourself, "Am I trying to be me, or am I trying to be someone else?"
Q2. What's your take on "fan-girling"? (Is it vaguely amusing, somewhat nauseating, or completely a non-issue when teenage girls fall to pieces for any hero on the screens? (The Doctor, Captain America, Thor, etc.))
A. “Fan-girling” can be a bit weird at times. It certainly can make a guy jealous, but that’s his problem. Sometimes, though, girls can take it a bit too far. It’s perfectly normal for people to have role models. Everyone has them. However, a guy being “cute” isn't quite enough reason to make him your star.
Q3. If dragons in fairy tales could be allegorical to some modern-day monster that ought to be slayed, what would you say that the dragon for today's knight's be?
A. I think that the dragon of today’s world is impurity. Society tends to point to immodesty as the sole source of impurity. However, men sometimes overlook the fact that they can do a lot to help battle this dragon.
Q4. Do you think tomboys are weird? :P Sorry, that's something I've always kinda wondered because I'm more on the tomboy side. xP
A. Tomboys aren't any weirder than a boy that doesn't like dirt. However, once again, it can be taken too far. If a girl is trying to be a boy, that’s a problem, but if she just enjoys running around and participating in more “boyish” activities, I don’t see a problem with it.
Q5. Why are guys so shy when it comes to talking to girls? I see guys all the time and most of the time I try to talk to them they are too shy to talk. Some guys do talk to me. But why are a lot of guys too shy to talk to girl?
A. Like it was stated before, women are the most complex creatures in the world. (Although I’m sure woman say that men are, so for the sake of agreement, we’ll just say that in the eyes of men, women are the most complex creatures in the world) So, just like you don’t dive into math when you don’t understand it, a guy is reluctant to talk to you because he doesn't really “understand” you. Not in the sense that he thinks your talking gibberish, but your different then he is, and that’s about all he knows. Eventually, boys grow out of it when they learn a little more about women and find out that they're not really aliens from outer space.

Q6. When/if you like a girl, what do you usually do?
A.This one is hard for any guy to answer. Mostly because A) it’s kind of the deepest secret we have, B) every guy reacts differently, and C) some guys don’t even know what they do. So, if you want to know if a guy likes you or not, that’s not really a question anyone can answer but the guy who you think might like you. However, generally, a way to show your affection for someone is to be nice to them, and spend time with them. Just like how you love your family members. If you like someone, you care for them. So, if a guy seems to be paying a lot of attention to you, is being overly nice, and seems to care a lot about you. A safe bet is that he at least is a good friend.
A.Well, both skirts and pants have their merits. In general, I think boys can go either way with it. A skirt is dressier in most cases, but pants can be better in situations where you are required to be more active, like a PE class.
A. Once again, this is a little hard to answer in a general way, as most guys are different. However, I would say that in general, a guy is more attracted to a girl who dresses modestly, is nice, and friendly.
