Music Mondays: March 10, 2014

This week for music recommendations, I have:

 Happy - by Pharrell Williams

 Even if you think you look like a total dork while dancing, this song makes you feel like you could go on Dancing With the Stars and WIN with your epic moves. 'Happy' may be familiar to you already because it was featured in Despicable Me 2, but only recently became popular thanks to the release of Pharrell's new album.

All Of Me – John Legend

Make sure you've got some tissues when you're listening to this one. All Of Me is a romantic piano ballad that will give you ALL THE FEELS. Seriously. (I may or may not cry whenever I hear this song. Don't judge me.)

Brave- Sara Bareilles

 I just love Sara Bareilles!! She's awesome, this song is awesome, end of story. Also, go check out the music video for this song. IT'S AWESOME. (That's pretty much the only adjective I can use for anything related to Sara Bareilles)

Another duo to check out would be Alex and Sierra!!

         These two were discovered on the X-Factor, and they won America over with their folk-sy audition of 'Toxic.' They continued to impress each week with with a unique twist on popular songs, and eventually won the X-Factor! And yes, they are a couple and have been for two years. I mean, look at them. LOOK AT HOW ADORABLE THEY ARE

Another duo to watch would be Lennon and Maisy. 

These sisters are just bursting with talent and have the sweetest voices you've ever heard. Lennon, aged 14 and Maisy, aged 10, have over 44 thousand subscribers on their YouTube channel and have over 22 million views on their cover of Robyn/Erato's 'Call Your Girlfriend', and just released an original song this year called 'Bright Side'. They also cover songs like 'That's What's Up' by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros. Also, their harmonies are BEE-YOO-TIFUL. So go ahead and click on the song titles above and check 'em out!!
