Spring Outfit Ideas for Rainy Weather

March 21, the day after the spring equinox.  Spring is finally arriving.  Do you know what comes after March?  Wait for it, wait for it...it's such a shocker, you won't believe it!  APRIL!  Bet you weren't expecting that.  *nods*  I'm sure we all know that old saying that goes, "April showers bring May flowers!"  Now, I don't know about the rest of you, but I absolutely love rain.  Whether it's a rainstorm or only a slight drizzle, there is something just so calming about rain.  Call me a romantic if you wish, but rain really seems to leave the world fresh and clean with a smell of spring in the air.  Running out in the rain, splashing in puddles, it's one of the simple joys in life that I shall always appreciate.  However, an adventure into a world of rain requires a bit of protection.  A rain coat, an umbrella, a pair of boots...  Maybe you wouldn't think of rainy day wear as something stylish, but you can actually find some cute outfits out there!  

Personally, I am a fan of bright, cheerful colors that make you smile, especially on a gray, rainy day.

But, of course, not all rainy days are chilly.  Some can be rather warm!  In that case, try this outfit.

Umbrella, Rain boots, and you can find a cute dress at any thrift store.  If it's a bit chilly, toss in a pair of leggings!  Just make sure your dress is fairly long as leggings are NOT pants.  ;)
