True To You: How to Make a Pinterest Worthy Room

Hello everyone! As some of know, I moved recently. :) SOOOOOOOO, since I got a new bedroom, (Did I mention I don't have to share it with anyone? SCORE) I've been spending a lot of time looking for different, fun, easy, and affordable room DIYs that can give my room that extra wow factor. :P

So here are a few DIY projects that are super easy and cheap that you can do for your room that will make it Pinterest ready! :D

The first thing that I like to do for a new room is add some kind of way to store pictures. Whether that is a bulletin board, home made poster etc. So here are a few easy things that you can do for your room! You can follow the pic down below. ;)

Another thing that you could do with picture is hang them with clothes pins on a string of Christmas lights. This is also a really fun way to show off pics in your room. You can have as many or little as you wish.

Don't forget about the old handy twine string trick. :P Super easy, super fun, and super cheap. :P All you need is pictures, clothes pins, some thumb tacks and twine!

The next idea is one of my favorites! All you need is a canvas board, Christmas lights, and a pencil. All you have to do is poke holes in a specific pattern that you like. Next just push your lights through the wholes and tada, you're done! :)

Add some colorful tape to your light switch covers to add design and color to your room!

Sometimes looking at items that have a specific purpose and using them for something else can be really fun! Down below the "bed side table" is actually a Target trashcan turned upside down! :) Simple, easy, and you didn't break the bank over it!

Adding a candle to a room can always add a nice little touch. :)

Never underestimate the power of spray painting! If you have an old lamp you are thinking about throwing away, hold up! You can always re-purpose it and dress it up by spray painting it a different color. :)

Getting a creative light fixture is always an amazing addition to a room. You can find similar lights like this one in the picture at stores like Ikea and Target. :P However, if you have a fan in your room, you won't exactly be able to use this super cool light. :P Opt out for a cool side lamp instead. :)

Adding a meaningful phrase, quirky word, or name is always a nice accessory for a room. :) You can find letters like these at stores like Michael's and Hobby Lobby. They might not come painted, that is an easy fix. :)
